CAMATA Executive

Karen is a Nurse with a varied background in critical care, neurosurgery and management. She has been involved in air medical operations since 2000. For 5 years, she was involved with critical care transports across Canada and worldwide with Critical Care International. She recently retired from the role of Nurse Manager, for Keewatin Air/Nunavut Lifeline, who provides the medevac services to the Kivalliq region of Nunavut and northern Manitoba.

Karen has taken an active role in CAMATA since 2001 and has held various executive positions; Member at Large, Secretary, Membership and now Treasurer. She also was very involved with conference planning and was instrumental in starting up CAMATA’s newsletter.
