Jessica Davis

Jessica Davis graduated from nursing in 2005 from the University of Manitoba as an RNBN. She began her career working as an ER nurse in one of the tertiary hospitals in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she specialized in cardiac care. In 2007, Jessica graduated from the Adult Intensive Care program where she then began working in the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit at the cardiac center in Winnipeg. At the same time, Jessica pursued her goals of becoming a flight nurse which stemmed from the stories her grandfather told her as a pilot for the first air ambulance company in Canada back in the 50’s. Jessica worked as an ICU nurse and a flight nurse for 4 years where she then accepted a position with Manitoba Lifeflight in 2011. As one of 6 critical care flight nurses in the province of Manitoba, Jessica gained experience in all facets of critical care transport. In 2015, Jessica graduated from Royal Roads University with her Masters in Disaster and Emergency Management which helped prepare her for the position of Chief Flight Nurse for Manitoba Lifeflight in 2016. Jessica currently holds the Chief Flight Nurse position with Manitoba Lifeflight Air Ambulance where she balances being a mom to four children, a wife, an active lifestyle and the owner of over 10 horses at any given time.
